Q. How secure is my data?
A. Your data is stored in the MEDIBIS secure data center monitored by a 24 hour security service. All data resides on an enterprise class server behind our corporate firewall. Absolute security is our highest priority. All of our products use Secure Socket Layer technology (also used by banks and the financial industry) to protect the security of your data. Integrity is maintained on our servers through leading technology to prevent any loss, corruption or unauthorized access.
Q. What is different from the reports I generate from my information system vs. MEDIBIS reports?
A. The reports generated from most information systems are "canned" or pre-programmed. In other words you have limited ability to customize the information you can get beyond predefined data filters and sorting capabilities. Secondly, decision makers often need information that is spread across multiple reports. MEDIBIS allows you to do your reporting and analysis by looking at your data across multiple viewpoints of your business.
Q. What training and support is involved with the MEDIBIs system?
A. Implementing the MEDIBIS system includes instructor led web-based training broken out by hourly session. This enables users to get bite-sized pieces of training as they learn to work with the system. The monthly service delivery model provides access to toll-free customer support personnel during standard business hours.
Q. Who has access to my facility data?
A. Only subscribed users from your facility have access to your data.
Q. How does MEDIBIS get my data?
A. MEDIBIS has processes that query the data from your information system then transmit it over a secure internet connection to the data processing center in Oklahoma City. Data is extracted on a scheduled basis and requires minimal effort on the part of the facility.
