It's one thing to have an army of experts. It's another to have workflows in place that ensure each of these experts is continually working on the appropriate task at the appropriate time. Our proprietary workflows do just that.

Built over time and continually updated, these workflows exist throughout the revenue cycle. However, their impact on reimbursement is most obvious in the billing and collections stages through the systemization of follow-up. Rather than merely printing a list of open accounts and triaging them based solely on dollar value, as most ASC business offices do, our billing and collections teams are prompted daily as to which claims to work based on over 15 determining factors. Time, dollar value, last activity, the payer and other dynamics are considered. We even have processes set up that anticipate payer actions and we drive workflow based on that knowledge.

GENASCIS workflows are driven by our proprietary “Q” Workshare Solutions system. Designed to facilitate optimal efficiency internally, “Q” proactively directs our revenue cycle specialists’ efforts from intake through charge. Below are screen shots from “Q’s” dashboard, providing an at-a-glance aggregation of actionable information at key points within the billing process.

 

Batch Counts–allows our experts to quickly determine the number of batches and cards currently in a given client’s queue.

 

Card Breakdown–enables our experts to view active cards by status, as well as daily card activity.

 

On Hold & Info Request Status–provides our experts with key indicators of batches and cards that are either on hold or requesting additional information.
